CASSITY HALL RENOVATION

Scope of Work:

•  The scope of work is for the exterior and interior rehabilitation of the building including, but not limited to: replacement of the doors and windows; reopening of the narrow glass block windows of the apartment bathrooms and installing cased windows; removal of the mid-century aluminum kitchenettes; demolition of the kitchen pantries that vary in size; vct removal in the corridors and the wood floors either replaced or restored; removal of the carpet in the living/dining areas of the apartment and wood floors either replaced or restored; exterior masonry walls to be pressured washed, precast stone to be repointed.

•  Project was done in collaboration with Delta State University, Bureau of Buildings, and Mississippi Department of Archives and History.
